We needed new nightstands for the ones we had were starting to fall apart. I checked around at furniture stores and they were anywhere from $300 to $500 apiece. Checked the reviews of this one and most were favorable. One thing my husband liked was the shelf with the charging station. We would be able to charge our electronics and they would be out of the way. The two drawers are large enough to hold all our other stuff without them getting dusty. The ones we had had 1 drawer and an open cavity underneath.Here are my 3 main reasons I feel these, we bought 2, are worth the effort to buy and put together.1. This is a great product for the price. The nightstand was wrapped very well in a sturdy box so the pieces would not get damaged in shipping.2. The instructions, for the most part, were very clear on how to put together. The "most part" was the sliding mechanism for the drawer. The picture showed one way but the holes in the wood for attaching was another. It was a little confusing, but we followed the holes in the wood & it works just fine.3. The back of the nightstand is not folded carboard with little nails you hammered in, but a solid piece.The drawers are solidly put together WITH a 2" by width of the drawer to help keep the drawer together & to keep the bottom from sagging.
