Why can't the resolution of my monitor reach 5K after connecting it? Please confirm whether your display supports dual DP access to work at the same time. If not, you can only achieve 4K with a single DP line. Why I could not play some video when the docking is connected? Our device does not support hdcp which means the protected content could not be play when our docking is connected.If you want to play such video,please disconnect the docking. Why I need to allow the displaylink app to record my screen to make the docking work? Once screen recording is allowed,our device could send the pixels over USB from your computer to the DisplayLink display. It does not send any data or pixels back to DisplayLink or wavlink.Please do not worry about that.

I purchased this to allow for my MacBook Air M3 to connect to more monitors while still using the laptop screen and turns out, I also use this a lot with my Mac Mini M2 Pro. Simply convenient and provides a number of additional ports that have come in very handy. I'm annoyed that MacOS keeps asking to allow necessary permissions for this to work but that's a Mac problem, not this unit's problem.
